Key Highlights

  • Removal and disposal of existing culvert, asphalt and material deemed unsuitable for re-use on site.
  • Supply and installation of precast concrete culvert with the use of a crane.
  • Silt fencing, fish removal and water by-pass implemented.
  • Backfill structure with approximately 400 tonnes of Granular B Type I.
  • Planting of 736 poplar trees, of various genera, for the bioremediation of nitrogen enriched groundwater.
  • Embankment grading and earth borrow for embankment fill.
  • Forming and pouring of 30m3 of concrete footings.
  • Reinstatement of road using HL-3 and HL-8 hot mix.
  • Replacement of an additional 600mm diameter culvert.
  • Supply and placement of 600 tonnes a combination of granular A & B.
  • Installation of 35 metres of single rail steel beam guide rail and 3 extruder terminal systems.
  • Supply and placement of topsoil, seed and an erosion control blanket.
