Titanium Contracting gets featured in Canada Business Review

Diligently serving the Ontario, Canada region, Titanium Contracting stands as a successful heavy equipment general contractor who specializes in providing customers with pristine, turnkey solutions. Coupling the team’s extensive industry experience with its accrued fleet of specialized equipment, Titanium Contracting is prepared to meet the needs of any construction project for its clients. The company maintains a pool of loyal private clients, as well as receives a lot of its business from its well-established reputation throughout the industry.

Established in 2012, Titanium Contracting understands the set of diverse needs that each project entails, and works with respective clients to ensure that these needs are not only met, but exceeded. The team at Titanium is comprised of 25 hardworking individuals who understand the value of teamwork and integrity, showing up each day to a project like it is the first one. Focusing on the health, safety and success of both its own employees and the client’s project, Titanium Contracting embodies the value of quality from start to finish.

“We focus on the jobs that other companies don’t necessarily want,” says Vice President Steve Foster, “We have some very strong foreman and it’s all about trust here. We trust our crew to the supervision of the foreman, and to live up to the Titanium’s quality-driven expectations. We don’t scrutinize the purchase of safety equipment, we encourage it. We want to make sure that each employee has the tools they need to succeed”.

Ongoing projects at Titanium Contracting

Titanium Contracting takes pride in every project they embark upon, regardless of size, shape or location. Stepping up to meet the needs of the less-desirable projects within this highly-competitive industry, Titanium greets challenges with excitement and empowerment. By seeing each day as a new opportunity for improvement, Titanium Contracting continues to push itself to continuously improve standards of quality, doing whatever it takes to ensure the customer’s success.

Always having a full plate, two of Titanium’s most recent endeavors are its Town of Aurora and City of Vaughan projects. The Town of Aurora project is halfway completed, with the second phase beginning in June of 2014. This endeavor was a culvert rehabilitation project that Titanium took on, breaking the large project into a two-phase task. The company recently finished the first phase of the project in late September of this year, and is waiting to begin the second phase of this project until June of 2014 due to the fisheries window and the conservation efforts. The company’s well-trained team will be going back into the jobsite, working from the inside, to continue and ultimately finish this outstanding project. Services to be finished in phase two of the Town of Aurora project include: chipping out the damaged base and footings, pouring new fittings, reshaping the culvert and finally resealing it.

The second of the company’s two ongoing projects is the City of Vaughan. This project was designed to replace 2,000 dead trees to begin the City’s tree-life recovery from a recent infestation. Titanium was given the planting locations for the replacement trees and removed existing stumps of trees that were up to 100 years old.  Titanium then replaced them with young, healthy trees throughout the entire city, which is roughly around 50-75 sq kilometers.

Quality values and services at Titanium

Titanium Contracting demonstrates its commitment to quality though its timely production, budget-consciousness and dedication to safety. In such a highly-competitive industry like the construction and general contracting one, a sterling reputation and well-known name will go a long way for business, and Titanium has experience the success of this firsthand.

“There are a lot of good companies in our field. I would say that we are as good as a lot of them, and better than quite a few. From our ownership and management down, we all work towards making the customer happy. Our main concern is having good references, good customer service and an overall great product”, says Foster.

By owning its own equipment, Titanium ensures this quality by maintaining its own extensive library of specialized machinery and equipment. Titanium still rents some less-frequently used machines, but takes pride in owning: a 50 tonne excavator, 35 tonne excavator, a 25 tonne reduced tailswing excavator, an 8 tonne mini excavator and two 3 tonne excavators.. This portfolio of equipment further equips Titanium to be ready for any project that comes its way, no matter how big or small. Whether it be the success of past projects including multiple large diameter CSP and pre-cast box culvert replacements, contaminated site remediations and pre-cast noise barrier installations, its commitment to efficient and quality customer service or its extensive range of specialized machinery, Titanium Contracting stands as one of Ontario’s premier general contracting and construction providers.
